usually writteh khet in these lessons, but others will write it as: heth, het, chet, cheth. or even ches.

fricative sound as at the end of “loch” (lochness monster)

if you say the sound at the beginning of “coat” and then the sound of “home” and then try to make a sound exactly half-way between them, that might be close.

the name of the letter itself rhymes with hate, but rhyming with bet (like in poker) is also acceptable.

never the English “ch” as in “cheese”
